Baton Rouge – The Louisiana Trust for Historic Preservation (LTHP) has been recognized as part of Stonehenge Capital’s 2020 charitable giving supporting historic preservation organizations in Louisiana. Stonehenge selected LTHP for its effort with its statewide Revolving Fund Program working to save endangered historic properties from demolition.  Since 2015, LTHP’s Revolving Fund Program has rescued over a dozen historic buildings from neglect and championed the preservation of our state’s unique architectural heritage.

“Stonehenge is proud to partner with LTHP to further its mission of historic preservation in all 64 of Louisiana’s parishes” said Whitney LaNasa, Managing Director at Stonehenge Capital. “The work of LTHP is instrumental in preserving historic structures throughout Louisiana Main Street communities and in educating, promoting and preserving historic places that celebrate Louisiana’s diverse cultures. Whether we are working together to preserve the LA Commercial Tax Credit before the Louisiana legislature or hosting a conference to educate our state’s residents and leaders on historic preservation, LTHP passionately supports its mission of historic preservation and economic revitalization.”

LTHP’s Revolving Fund Program continues to grow.  “We look to save and stabilize our state’s most endangered historic places and make them a part of the community again” says Brian Davis, LTHP Executive Director.  If Louisianans know of places that could use some attention, could be lost, or may benefit from statewide advocacy programs such as the Revolving Fund Program, please contact LTHP at or (318) 267-5220.
