Remembering Sue Ball - A Shreveport Advocate

Last month, Shreveport lost one of its greatest preservation advocates, Mary Sue Ball.  Sue left a legacy and became to be known as “Miss Highland.” She was devoted to help restore, promote, and maintain the historic Highland and Fairfield neighborhoods of Shreveport.

Sue volunteered to improve the quality of life of these neighborhoods by serving on the Highland Restoration Association including hosting the popular neighborhood Christmas Home Tours.

Sue has made a major impact on her neighborhood and the greater Shreveport area.  To learn more about Sue Ball, click here.

Recently, a LTHP member made a donation in memory of Sue and her dedication to historic preservation.  Click here if you would like to donate in honor of Sue Ball.
