We’re getting back on track with our events this fall, starting with the 2021 Louisiana Preservation Conference in Monroe & West Monroe on September 30 & October 1.  Join us in northeast Louisiana as we discuss tools, programs and strategies for preserving and protecting the historic resources in your community.

A few weeks later, we’ll host our popular Ramble tour of Bogalusa and Washington Parish.  Visit sites and hear stories associated with the timber industry, Civil Rights Movement and music legacy from the southeast corner of the state.  Rambles are a great way to learn more about the buildings and culture of our state and have a loyal following of tourgoers.

Admissions to our events support the work of LTHP throughout the year and many of our ticketed events include a member discount. Learn more about membership benefits and levels here.  Thank you for your support of LTHP and our mission!

Educational Videos on YouTube

Throughout 2020, LTHP remained engaged with preservation topics and projects around the state.  A diverse series of topics are covered in videos and are accessible on our YouTube channel here.  From career profiles in preservation to nominating a property to the National Register of Historic Places, we hope you find these videos useful.  Please contact LTHP if you have questions about your project.
